Wetzel Cabin Rental – NSAA Members Only
The Wetzel Cabin is a unique, off-the-grid backcountry cabin available exclusively for rental by NSAA members. This dry cabin offers a rustic experience similar to a public use cabin.
Located in the Nancy Lake State Recreation Area in Willow, Alaska—just 75 miles (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) north of Anchorage—the cabin is nestled in a serene, natural setting ideal for year-round outdoor exploration.

- 438 square feet of living space
- Dry/off-grid cabin
- Lake-access only (accessible by canoe/boat, skis, or on foot depending on the season)
- Available to rent 365 days a year
